On February 2nd on the road, the Blue Devils beat the Hokies, 75-60, in conference action.

The Blue Devils played a decent game, winning by a larger margin than expected. The Duke RPI ranking was higher than Virginia Tech (#2 to #83). Last season, Duke went 1-1 against Virginia Tech. Over the last four years, the Blue Devils have a record of 6-1 with a record of 3-1 at Cassell Coliseum.
