| Duke falls to #10, a drop of three spots in this week's AP Top 25 poll. The Blue Devils join four ACC teams in the poll, the others being North Carolina at #5, Florida State (#15), and Virginia (#19). Duke started off the week with a win at Virginia Tech, 75-60. That was followed by an upset loss at home against Miami (FL), 78-74.
North Carolina stays put at #5 following a week that began with a win at Wake Forest, 68-53. After that came another win at Maryland, 83-74.
Florida State moves up six places after wins against then-16th ranked Virginia, 58-55 and Georgia Tech, 68-54. Virginia moves down three spots after a win against Clemson, 65-61 and a loss to then-21st ranked Florida State.
Kentucky hangs on to number one for the second straight week. Louisville enters the Top 25 at #24 with a win at home over Rutgers, 78-66. Harvard comes in at #25 with wins against Columbia, 57-52 and Cornell, 71-60. Gonzaga falls out of the rankings this week with an upset loss at Brigham Young, 83-73 and a win at Pepperdine, 72-60. Vanderbilt drops out after losses to then-12th ranked Florida, 73-65 and Arkansas, 82-74.
